Student opportunities and activities
At Rand Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Sporting Skill Development
Our students have the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and knowledge by participating in sessions with experienced coaches.
Our students have been involved in taekwondo, hockey, badminton and pickle ball.
Leadership
Our Year 6 students have the opportunity to organise events and activities for their peers throughout the year. These may include tasty Tuesday, Fri-Yay and Peer Support Activities.
Students in stage 2 and 3 have the opportunity to be a Premier's Sporting Skills Ambassador - this allows them to develop their leadership skills while supporting their peers to improve sporting skills and knowledge.
Incursions
Our students are introduced to cultural and scientific knowledge through a range of incursions.
These have included Halve Waste, Hands-On Science, The Murray Conservatorium and circus skills
